Six weeks ago, I saw the doctors at AAR, who referred me to Aga Khan Hospital with terrible back pains and abdominal pains. After thorough investigations they discovered I had a big growth/cysts at the right ovary measuring 4.32cm. I was put on medication for 2 weeks. After 6 weeks I was to do a scan to see if the growth was still there. I was scheduled for an operation because it was very painful; I couldn’t bend or stand for long or even sleep.

We started praying with my friends and our Spiritual dad who lives in UK and all of us believed God for a miracle. The same week was AFLEWO week (Africa Lets Worship is a whole night of prayer and worship) and I told God if for nothing else I was to attend AFLEWO to receive my healing. Some of my friends didn’t like the idea of me attending AFLEWO because they had seen me in lots of pain and wondered how I would stand for that long. However my mind was set and I said even if I was to go for an hour I would go  to receive my healing. On the day AFLEWO was to take place,  I told one of my colleagues that I would be attending AFLEWO for healing and I believed and trusted God that I would be miraculously healed and that in the next appointment doctors would be shocked because there would be nothing. I left the overnight at 2am when my legs and back started paining but deep down my heart I knew had gotten healed.

The following day I didn’t experience any back pains or abdominal pains. Later on I was informed that Rev. Tom, one of the Pastors who was leading worship at AFLEWO, was led by God to pray for female reproductive organs and as he prayed he was very specific. Two of my friends and my husband who knew what was happening started believing God on my behalf. On the other side our spiritual father was praying for me and God had told him we should have an appointment with God on Wednesday, 23rd September 2009 before the Ultra Sound was done. To my surprise, God directed him to come all the way to pray and anoint me on that day. After praying he said, “Tomorrow go and shock the doctors for the Lord has done it”. 

On Thursday, 24^th September 2009, I went back to Aga Khan to get the Ultra sound done and after the doctor checked for a few minutes she asked me, “You said you were sent to do what?” I told her to read because it was written on the request paper. Then she asked me, “Had you done this test before?” I said, “Yes”. She asked, “How long ago?” I said, “6 weeks ago”. She looked at me in shock and said, “There is nothing wrong with your uterus or ovaries. No cysts that can be traced in all the organs”. I jumped on that bed and Praised God almighty. She started telling me about how hormones can cause things to happen and I told her, “No, we have prayed and fasted and our God has answered, He’s a Miracle healing God”.   

Long story short, our God is so powerful and faithful. He hears us when we cry and call to Him, even when we don’t feel like He is near, He’s there holding our hand. All we need is to walk in Holiness and in His ways. Psalms 27:14 had been my verse that week and as God says in Isaiah 46:9-11, ‘What He has purposed concerning your life will be accomplished in Jesus Mighty Name’. I am where Habakkuk was when he wrote Habakkuk 3:2.  

My encouragement to us all is that we continue to trust God for He alone is powerful and His word is true and doesn’t go back void. What He has said concerning your life will come to pass because His word is YES and AMEN. 

To Rev. Tom, you don’t know me but thank you for walking in obedience to God’s work and doing what He demands of you, continue to live for Him and serve Him for it is not in vain, AFLEWO team your labor in God is not in vain and if for nothing else you stood for those hours for my healing miracle, its raining showers of water and healing, Amen. To my dear friends, you know yourselves thanks for standing with me in prayer, may the Lord answer you when you call. He’s more than able. Rev. John, thanks for being a true dad, continue walking in His ways, you know well what is in store, all for His glory and Honor. AMEN, AMEN.
